Sapphire Eyes are state-of-the-art Wi-Fi sensors and high-performance clients developed and patented by 7SIGNAL. They are uniquely designed to measure network connectivity and the quality of the end-user experience on Wi-Fi networks.

Sapphire Eye 2100

Sapphire Eyes include powerful directional sector antennas and act as a high performance client device on the Wi-Fi network, repeatedly testing Wi-Fi performance when connected through the APs deployed in their vicinity. The Eyes complement your current wireless access point management software, which enables proactive WLAN assurance. The image to the right is the Sapphire Eye 2100 indoor sensor which supports 802.11ac. Due to its slim profile you are able to easily conceal it within any location. What Eyes See and Do

Sapphire Eyes execute active, cyclic end-user synthetic test traffic (Layers 1-7), provide a comprehensive passive analysis (Layers 1-2) as well as spectrum analysis. The tests are defined in a custom automated test profile which can include communication with premises and cloud servers of unique importance to your business. WLAN data is analysed within the Eye and the results are stored in a cloud database which is part of the Sapphire Cloud analytics platform.
